Employing Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) for Integrated Nuclear Weapons Security Systems

SSP needed to update its robust, multi-layered nuclear weapons security systems using a single system security architecture in order to manage configuration, coordinate system design and implementation, and improve program efficiency. JRC developed a MBSE solution for integrating multiple security systems into one common architecture.

Moving a Sea-Based Missile Defense System to a Shore-Based Facility Customer: Missile Defense Agency (MDA)

MDA had to build the AEGIS Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) System, normally on a Navy Destroyer, on two shore sites in Poland and Romania. JRC supported Initial Operational Capability (IOC) in Romania and is currently supporting similar efforts in Poland.

Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP)

Develop a Hardware-In-The-Loop Integrated Test Facility at “SWS Ashore”

SSP needed an integrated test facility to perform Hardware-in-the-Loop system qualification of the Trident II Strategic Weapons System (SWS) for the COLUMBIA Class submarine.  JRC led the program office engineering efforts to define facility and system requirements, perform requirements verification, and ultimately perform daily test and logistics operations at SWS Ashore.

Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP)

Frequency and Spectrum Management for Integrated Flight Test Operations

SSP needed a solution to deconflict spectrum and improve data security while also increasing data transmission rates in order to support more advanced missile system testing.
