JRC is proud to announce the promotion of Nicolas (Nic) Gatica to Manager of the Program Management Office (PMO) Shipboard Systems (SPS) Section within the JRC Missiles & Space Division.

Based in Anaheim, California, Nic has been a key contributor to JRC for over six years. In his new role, he will lead a geographically diverse team with members located in Pittsfield, MA, and Mitchel Field, NY.

Throughout his time at JRC, Nic has distinguished himself as a trusted Task Lead, known for his unwavering dedication, strong work ethic, and ability to deliver results with minimal supervision. His leadership and contributions have been instrumental to the success of the Anaheim PMO, earning him the respect of teammates and government customers alike across multiple sites.

Before joining JRC, Nic served 5 years in the U.S. Marine Corps, including two deployments. As a Civil Affairs Specialist, he supported missions across Eastern Europe and Southeast Asia, gaining invaluable experience in leadership, adaptability, and cross-cultural engagement that continues to shape his approach today. Next month marks Nic's 8th year in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves.

“I enjoy sharing my career with JRC because it’s a company that invests in their employees and treats them like family, whether you’ve been with the company for 12 years or 5 months. The people are what make JRC a great place to work, and I can’t wait to see where it goes!”
