JRC is proud to announce the promotion of Mike Greenberg to Director of The Special Programs Group within our Missiles & Space Division (M&S).

Mike has been a driving force at JRC since joining the team in January 2017. He began his journey supporting the SDI&O Division, where he contributed to critical efforts including Missile Defense Agency programs for Poland, Romania, and Japan. Under the leadership of Ron Grignol (SDI&O VP), Mike gained invaluable experience, which ultimately prepared him to take on expanded responsibilities across JRC’s M&S Division.

As Director, Mike now leads The Special Programs Group, continuing his instrumental work on complex defense projects, including development of the Multimodal Translation Device (MTD) prototype, enhancing communication across language, system, and operational boundaries. His ability to manage large-scale hiring efforts, drive program momentum, and support customer goals with unmatched precision has made him a trusted and influential leader across the organization.

In his new role, Mike will continue to oversee multiple contracts, mentor rising talent, and support future growth initiatives in alignment with JRC’s mission. His customer insight, leadership, and decision-making skills ensure sustained performance and satisfaction for our Department of Navy partners and beyond.

“Joining JRC after my Navy career was a pivotal moment. I was searching for a sense of purpose and belonging, and JRC quickly became that family,” Mike shared. “Both the SDI&O and M&S Divisions provided opportunities that helped me grow into my current role. I’m honored and privileged to lead this team and excited to drive continued success for JRC and our customers.”

Outside of work, Mike enjoys staying active and exploring the outdoors, whether he’s on a motorcycle cruising scenic backroads or taking his Jeep off the beaten path. A self-proclaimed adrenaline junkie, he’s passionate about freedom, movement, and music. “Music sets the tone for my day and keeps me motivated,” he says. He also carves out time for regular exercise, not just for fitness, but to stay balanced and grounded, reminding him to enjoy the ride, both on and off the road.

Please join us in congratulating Mike on this well-deserved promotion. We look forward to his continued leadership and impact!
