JRC is proud to announce the promotion of Matt Sedlock to Human Resources Manager within our Human Resources Department.
Based at JRC Headquarters in Washington, D.C., Matt has been an integral part of the company for nearly five years. He began his career at JRC as an HR Generalist before transitioning into a workforce development role supporting one of our Navy programs. After returning to the HR Department, Matt has continued to make a significant impact on the company’s people-first culture and internal operations.
Over the past several years, Matt has streamlined and automated JRC’s onboarding process, enhancing the new-hire experience and strengthening retention. His leadership in launching the New Employee Resource Group has also been instrumental in helping new hires feel connected, supported, and empowered from day one.
In his new role, Matt will oversee an HR Administrator while continuing to support managers across the company on employee relations and development initiatives. He will manage budget planning, benefits administration, HR operations, and the new employee onboarding experience. Matt will continue to play a vital role in shaping JRC’s evolving HR systems, policies, and employee engagement efforts.
Reflecting on his career at JRC, Matt shared:
"I enjoy sharing my career with JRC for many reasons, but most importantly, are the people. Showing up to work every day knowing you are surrounded by talented individuals who all bring a uniqueness to the team and organization. The culture that has been created and sustained is another key factor within JRC that makes me look forward to seeing or working with people every day. Lastly, the support and flexibility JRC provides is second to none. They actually care about their people whether that be on a day-to-day job basis or outside of work in our personal life. I know for me I have been very appreciative of this because JRC allows me to coach baseball."
