JRC is proud to announce the promotion of Mark Sferra to Vice President of Strategic Captures & Proposals.
Since joining JRC, Mark has played a central role in building and expanding our Strategic Captures & Proposals team. He has become a key member of our executive leadership group and a driving force behind JRC’s company-wide business development strategy.
Mark’s leadership has been instrumental in capturing and retaining major programs and customers. Notably, he guided JRC’s acquisition of cutting-edge technology in radiation-hardened microelectronics, now known as the Robust Chip product line, and has overseen its integration into our portfolio. He has also been a strong partner across divisions, particularly with our Strategic Defense & International Operations division (SDIO), where his efforts with the Missile Defense Agency have led to significant program wins. Under his leadership, JRC has secured a prime position on the OASIS+ contract and achieved ISO 9001 certification, both critical milestones as we expand our impact across the country.
Reflecting on his career at JRC, Mark shared:

Outside of work, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife, Susan, and their two children, Andrew and Kathryn. He especially values family ski trips with friends, as well as playing golf and hiking in Calvert Cliffs with his dog.
