JRC is proud to announce the promotion of Eric Everts to Director of the Strategic Defense and International Operations (SDIO) Division.
Eric brings extensive cross-divisional experience, having served as a Senior Manager in both the SDIO and Systems Engineering and Integration (SEI) Divisions. In his new role, he will oversee all operations of the SDIO Division, including customer locations in Huntsville, AL; Dahlgren and Ft. Belvoir, VA; the National Capital Region; Colorado Springs, CO; and Pensacola, FL.
With over 26 years of experience in Business Development, Acquisition, Program Management, Integration and Test, Logistics, Configuration Management, and Space and Missile Defense Capabilities, Eric’s technical and programmatic expertise have made him a trusted leader both within JRC and across the broader defense community.
Throughout his career, Eric has supported critical programs for the Department of the Navy and Department of the Army. His contributions to test flight and range operations have strengthened JRC’s reputation for technical excellence and mission dependability across major engineering and acquisition centers in Dahlgren, VA; Huntsville, AL; and Colorado Springs, CO.
Eric’s extensive background, leadership, and dedication have been critical to JRC’s growth and reputation across missile defense programs. His ability to unite teams and drive mission success embodies the very best of JRC’s culture. We are confident that under his leadership, the SDIO Division will continue to achieve outstanding results.
Reflecting on his journey, Eric shared:
“I have been very blessed to have found JRC after retiring from the Army. They have treated me like family and made it easy to transition from military service and start my second career.”

Everts Family
Outside of work, Eric recently became a grandfather for the first time. He enjoys fishing and unwinding at his remote cabin in Canada, where he can truly relax. At home, he dedicates time to his 180-gallon saltwater reef tank, a personal passion he carefully maintains.
Eric is especially proud of his family’s legacy of service; all three of his children currently serve in the military and are graduates of Service Academies. His two daughters graduated from the Air Force Academy, and his son from the Naval Academy.
He attributes his success in both the military and at JRC to his wife and family, who he says “have always been a grounding force in my life and supported me every step along the way.”
